Briefly explained: On 5 October 2025, I opened my centre for Angewandte Neurofunktion in Haidlfing. Around 30 guests used the afternoon for questions, practical insights and personal encounters. Today, I work in Vilshofen an der Donau.

An afternoon when an idea became a place
Between 13 and 17, former clients, friends, family and interested visitors came to the new premises. Right from the start, more people arrived than expected: we organised additional chairs so everyone had a seat. I was particularly pleased by the open atmosphere and many specific questions. What is behind Applied Neurofunction? What happens in an appointment? And why do I consider more than the place where a problem becomes noticeable?
The large event room offered space for explanations and demonstrations. Snacks and drinks were as much part of the afternoon as time to listen. I did not want to give a long lecture, but make my work experienceable through personal exchange.
Angewandte Neurofunktion to observe and ask about
Over the afternoon, I offered several short practical insights. These concerned different functional relationships, from visual processing to questions of physical and emotional regulation. I am interested in how a specific function responds to a targeted stimulus and which next step then makes sense.
The difference lies in the comparisonAn explanation can easily remain abstract. If we instead first consider a specific function and then reassess under the same conditions, a difference becomes understandable at all. This connection of observation, targeted work and another comparison is exactly what I wanted to show the guests.
One visitor later told me that she felt considerably better after our brief shared trial. I was very pleased by this personal feedback. For further work, I am also interested in how such a change develops in everyday life.
Experience reaction playfully
In the smaller room, my son and stepdaughter supervised the ‘Reactive Intelligence Wall’ with BlazePods. Recognising illuminated targets, orienting yourself and reacting: the station made another part of my work immediately accessible. Some guests challenged each other; others simply tried it with curiosity. There was plenty of laughter.
Symptoms were therefore not the only focus that afternoon. Attention, reaction ability and enjoyment of movement also had their place. Quickly touching a target ultimately requires more than moving an arm as fast as possible: first, the target needs to be recognised and the appropriate action selected.
Encounters I will remember
The mayor congratulated me personally and presented a small gift. The local press was also represented. Particularly lovely were visits from people who already knew my work and my partner’s support throughout the day. Immediately afterwards, three appointments were arranged for the following week.
Thank you to everyone who supported this start with interest, questions and practical help. The afternoon was an important milestone for me, not only because of the new premises, but because my approach connected with real encounters there.
