Three offerings in spring 2025
The following dates document my former courses at VHS Deggendorf. They are completed and not a current registration opportunity. Their content shows the variety of ways safety, strength and perception can be considered together.
Fall prevention workshop – 20 March 2025
The two-hour workshop took place on Thursday, 20 March 2025, from 16:45 to 18:45 at VHS Deggendorf, Amanstraße 11. The fee at the time was 19 euros.
The content included balance and strengthening exercises, handling falling situations, getting back up and organising help. Practical tasks always need to fit the person and the safety framework.
Fall prevention course – from 24 March 2025
The course began on Monday, 24 March 2025, and comprised six sessions at VHS Deggendorf. The course fee at the time was 49 euros.
Regular stability, mobility and strength exercises provided space to try movements repeatedly with individual guidance. This repeated transfer into everyday life is an important difference from a single workshop.
Neuroathletic training for recreational athletes – 28 March 2025
The workshop took place on Friday, 28 March 2025, from 17:30 to 20:00 in the VHS Deggendorf exercise room. The fee at the time was 19 euros.
The focus was visual tasks, balance and proprioceptive body perception. What is interesting is not just the exercise itself, but which sporting task it can usefully complement.
